The process of making prints on paper direct from a drawing or print on translucent paper or cloth. Paper is coated with a mixture of ammonia, citrate of iron, and potassium ferrocyanide. On exposure to light this is changed in insoluble Prussian blue; while the lines of the drawing are left in which or a more paler blue. The blue print is immersed in a bath of clear water and becomes fixed by simply washing away all soluble matter. 2. A print made by the above described process. (Sturgis, 1900)
