cast concrete

Cast concrete refers to concrete that is poured into a mold to form a structural element. There are two types of cast concrete:

  1. Precast concrete: concrete is cast in a reusable mold and then cured in a controlled environment.
  2. Cast-in-place concrete: concrete is poured directly on the building site to form the desired structural system or application. (Kremer, 2025)
