The Albion Interactive History was created to help people better understand Albion, Michigan, a prototypical American small town located in south-central Michigan. This town was settled for farming, transformed by industry, and transformed again by the large-scale departure of industry and the jobs that came along with it. The Wesleyan Seminary was founded there in 1835 and went on to become Albion College, a well-regarded liberal arts college with a national reputation.
