Thin tile used as a wall finish; typically glazed ceramic tile, may also be terra-cotta, glass, plastic, or other material; may be square, rectangular, or other geometric shape; glued to the wall with mastic, or mud set, then the joints are grouted; types include azulejo, Dutch tile.
