A U.S. federal tax credit for a Certified Rehabilitation Project as defined in the Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981 and the tax Reform Act of 1986; available for substantial rehabilitation of a building listed in the National Register of Historic Places; administered by the National Park Service; equals the amount of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures up to a maximum of 20 percent of the adjusted basis of a depreciable property.
