The marketspace at Westfield was a holiday market held on six days between December 7 and 22, 2019. The market took over a sizable ground floor space of a two-story building that was previously vacant. Curated vendors brought vitality to this block and surrounding area during one of the busiest times of year.

At the building level, all that makes this storefront stand out is window graphics. Minimal lighting is provided except for four barn lights over the recessed entrance.

At the storefront window level, efforts are made to activate the display space above eye level. The white text on a black window stands out, but the solid red background blocks sight lines. From a staging perspective this leaves much to be desired. Layered displays, lighting, and decorations would all help activate this storefront better.

The lighting over the main entrance is bizarre with barn light fixtures and large glass globes. Inside each globe is a standard LED lightbulb. Clearly an effort was made to illuminate the entrance. There are also seven small recessed lamps over the door with the center lamp broken. As is often the case, appropriate lighting makes or breaks the building.
