A very elegant architect designed house with steeply pitched-roof/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="b4c1e196951abb0545db9948950c7b38" target="_blank" >pitched roof with slate tiles, five bays across the street façade imitating the Colonial Revival of the Federal style. Second floor windows have shutters.

On the first floor, the portico has a gentle round arch and is supported by Adamesque columns in a group. The entrance door has side-lights/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="1ca8b14520f98cc8ff6d865ce860a01c" target="_blank" >side lights and transom overhead. On either side of the portico are double-hung-2/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="744e5c0f5b3e19fdbf9b6bed48889765" target="_blank" >double hung, eight over eight windows, with a round fanlight, capped by a brick sill with stone key-block/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="18e1e910be5b69ba98964ad50655aaba" target="_blank" >keystone.

Orr was president of the Wyandotte Savings Bank.
