pressed bricks

Isaac Kremer/ September 9, 2018/ / 0 comments

Clay bricks made with only a small amount of water. They are compressed under high pressure which results in a very uniform brick with sharp edges and a surface sheen. Their fragile edges are susceptible to erosion due to a high clay to water ratio. Dry-pressed bricks are often used as face bricks. (Phillips, 1994)
