Brickwork formed into various patterns through the use of bricks of two or more colors or textures. Dichromatic brickwork refers specifically to the use of bricks of two colors to build up a pattern on walls, arches, corners, and around doors and windows. The use of more than two colors is termed polychromatic brickwork. (Phillips, 1994)
