A style that predominated in Europe, especially Spain, Germany and England from the mid fourteenth to fifteenth century. No specific buildings can be identified as inaugurating this style . (Kremer, 2024)
Defining characteristics include: intense ornamentation , complex vaults , lanterns , ogee arch , spatial unity and Perpendicular detailing .
