In French, a style of French 19th c. architecture in which Classicism, Louis-Quatorze, Italianate, Renaissance, and Gothic were promiscuously mixed. A rageur is a bad-tempered person: aspects of the Rageur style are certainly over-emphatic and outlandishly proportioned. (Kremer, 2023)
