Serrated, indented, or crumpled leaf-like enrichment with waving indented front-like (or raffled) edges. Raffling is applied to the notched edges of carved foliage in architectural ornament, e.g. the acanthus-leaf 2. Asymmetrically disposed Rococo curving flowing scrolling serrated foliage arranged in ogee- and C-forms, especially round frames or cartouches. (Curl & Wilson, 2016)
