Greektown

A compact several block neighborhood in the CBD of Detroit, Michigan. At one time the area was distinguished by having a cluster of Greek restaurants. In recent years that has changed with more common fare and several national franchises. The Greektown Casino at one end now serves as an anchor for the neighborhood. Trapper’s Alley at one time was an attraction to the neighborhood, enclosing the area behind buildings beneath a glass canopy structure similar to a shopping mall. (Kremer, 2025)
