  • Keene’s cement: Cement made from gypsum and alum; used as a stucco, it attains a particularly hard surface, susceptible to polishing.
  • marble-stucco: Stucco with crushed marble in the mix.

  • portland cement stucco: Stucco made with masonry cement or with portland cement mixed with less than 50% of volume of lime.
  • portland cement-lime stucco: Portland cement stucco to which lime is added in an amount greater than 50% by volume to improve the plasticity of the mix.
  • roughcast: Coarsely textured exterior plaster or stucco.
  • stipple-troweled finish: A stucco finish produced by troweling the high spots of a stippled stucco surface before it sets.
  • stucco: A substance generally made of cement, lime and sand, applied in a fluid state to form a hard exterior wall surface.
