Biographical Description
Serving as acting superintendent from August 8, 1975 to November 30, 1975, was the district’s director ofinstruction. On December 1, 1975, Dr. Garth Errington was elected superintendent, coming to Albion from Battle Creek where he was assistant superintendent.

Errington was a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received his bachelors and masters degrees. He was no stranger to Albion, for he had served here as assistant superintendent beginning in 1966. He resigned that position in May 1967, to become principal at Pontiac Central High School, and in December 1967 became superintendent in Battle Creek. Errington left Albion in July 1978 to become superintendent of the Grandville schools.

J. David Myers served as acting superintendent from August 1, 1978, to September 24, 1978.
