Troezen

The eponymn of the city of Troezen on the Saronic Gulf. According to the local tradition, he was the son of Pelops and Hippodamia and brother of Pitheus. During the reign of King Aetius, Pittheus and Troezen migrated to the city which was to take the latter’s name, and the three of them reigned together. Troezen had two sons, Anaphlystus and Sphettus, who migrated to Attica. (Grimal, 1990)
