partially enclosed

An area, structure, or space that has openings on at least two sides and is closed by a roof or overhang, but has large openings that create a significant imbalance of air pressure. In structural engineering, a partially enclosed building is defined by a two-part condition where openings in one wall exceed the sum of openings in the rest of the building envelope by over 10%.
