Old Testament Worship
This is represented by the seven-branch candlestick, by the Ark of the Covenant, or by the Altar of Burnt Offering. The Altar of Incense, the Brazen Laver, the Table of Shewbread, the Breastplate and Mitre of the High Priest, and the Tabernacle itself may be used. An altar, upon which lies a slain lamb may be used, or else the red heifer of Numbers 19, 1-6. (Webber, 1927)
