The angels are classified under three heads: Counsellors, Governors, and Messengers. The Counsellors include three orders: Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones. The Governors are composed of Dominions, Powers and Virtues. The Messengers embrace Principalities, Archangels, and Angels. (Webber, 1927)
