Moses

Isaac Kremer/ July 3, 2024/ / 0 comments

One of the prophets from the Old Testament. Received the Ten Commandments from God which he brought to the Jewish people inscribed on stone slabs. Led them from Egypt to the promised land, though died upon seeing it never being able to cross over and live there himself. (Kremer, 2025) In symbolism the birth of Moses is shown by a woven basket, surrounded by bullrushes. The call of Moses is represented by an acacia bush with three or more long flames heraldically treated, issuing out of it… Mos s and Aaron before Pharaoh are identified similarly by picturing a staff and serpent, recalling their miracles at the Egyptian king’s court.
