Graphic representation in two kinds, in both of which it is assumed that the line of sight is perpendicular to the plane of projection: centrolinear, or stationpoint, perspective (conic projection) in which the spectator is assumed to be at a local fixed distance from the object; orthogonal perspective (cylindrical projection) in which the spectator is assumed to be at an infinite distance from the object.
