Campus Martius Park – Detroit, Michigan

It was a heady time in Detroit. Compuware was building a new headquarters. Campus Martius Park had not yet arisen. I took time to sit at the foot of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument and watch all of the activity happening around me – from the construction equipment moving and the tower rising up, to the cars rushing by in a future public space not yet built out.
