A rib vault formed by the intersection of ten curved vault surfaces; used to cover a square space with eight cells of triangular plan; has two diagonal ribs, one rib bisecting the square, and two ribs that pass through the apex and divide the triangles formed by the diagonal ribs into thirds. (Bucher, 1996)
