A pattern glass with an iridescent finish that resembles a metallic sheen. Made by spraying newly presssed hot glass with a solution of metallic salts to form an iridescent finish on the surface. Made by Northwood, Dugan, Fenton, Imperial, Millersburg, and Westmoreland. The term “Golden Iris” was coined at the Northwood factory to describe its light golden sheen collection. (Kremer, 2023)
