Downtown – Corbin, Kentucky

Corbin has a reasonably well built up downtown. At the time we visited in 2016 there were some signs of a retail revival. Anchoring this were two businesses – You&Me Coffee & Tea and the Wrigley Taproom & Eatery. The Wrigley Taproom & Eatery made a conscious effort to source ingredients from local farmers. Also, the Farmers Market helped to draw people to the area and promote local food.

The Farmers Market operates on a sizable corner park in the heart of the downtown. They have permanent storage and signage on site to make them visible even when the market is not in operation. The branding on their logo – “eat fresh” and “buy local” – both captures the market and a growing number of food and drink businesses in Corbin.
