Frank L. Irwin, 1863
Died February 6, 1947
Frank L. Irwin was appointed receiver of the Albion National Bank. Ironically, he was the son of Samuel V. Irwin, who had started the National Bank in 1865. Irwin served as Albion City Treasurer in 1896, and as Postmaster from January 1898 to December 1910. He later moved to California and died February 6, 1947 in Los Angeles; his ashes were buried in Albion’s Riverside Cemetery.
