Farley, May E. Wartman, 1883
Died December 24, 1960
May Farley was born May 26, 1883, at the Wartman family home on West Erie Road. She graduated from Albion High School in 1900 and Mount Pleasant Normal School in 1903. She taught for one year before her marriage to Garfield Farley in her parents’ home in 1904. She served as regent of the Hannah Tracy Grant Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and as president of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She was also a member of the E.L.T. Club and a charter member of the South Albion Farmers’ Club. She died on December 24, 1960.
