Carswell, Idell, 1912
 
    Died August 19, 1994

Idell Carswell was born in Chumuckla, Florida, on January 29, 1912, and came to Albion in 1943, the same year she married Otha M. Carswell. She worked in food service at Albion High School, Albion College, and Wampler Lake. She was a cosmetologist and operated a beauty shop until 1963. Active in retirement, Idell was the Foster Grandparent of the Year in 1977 and received a senior citizen award in 1967. She was a member of the glossary/gethsemane/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="496bee6dabc575e1913f10d77606d085" target="_blank" >Gethsemane Temple Church of God in Christ.

Idell died on August 19, 1994.
