610 Austin Avenue

The Koroluk Confectionary at 610 Austin Avenue was a popular “west-end” meeting place in the early 20th century. A native of White Russia, Paul Koroluk (1888-1967) came to Albion in 1927 and operated his candy-soda-ice cream establishment until 1948. He is shown standing in back of the counter in this May 1945 photograph.
