In Athens on the acropolis near the end/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="a7fde30b4a9c560d0f5bcae8a1a43eb7" blank" >target="_blank" >east end, dedicated to a mythical heroine of Athenian history. Ephebic Oath was taken here by cadets to defend the country, fields and olive trees – and that they would leave it greater than they found it. (Kremer, 2022)
