In Italian, a building or part of a building, having the shape of a pyramid, obelisk, or pinnacle. Any building having a generally upright and slender form, when not easily classified under some other technical name; thus, a small pagoda or tope, or a monument of undescribed architectural character, or an elaborate German stove of enameled earthenware may be said to be a guglia or of guglia form.
