Storefront – 12 Farms Restaurant, Hightstown, New Jersey
We discovered this blank" >target="_blank" >glossary/restaurant/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="96830b984d1038ecd54b33768953c84f" target="_blank" >restaurant and the charming Borough of Hightstown while traveling along I-95 and wanting a nice family dinner. As the name suggests, this farm-to-table restaurant that opened in February 2015 makes a priority of sourcing from local farms. Their supplier as they proudly share on their website is broken_link">Zone 7 that works withover 120 sustainable farms in NJ and PA.
We were favorably impressed by the experience visiting this restaurant. In addition to the roasted butternut squash puree that I ordered, we also had some freshly made pastas. The restaurant highlights different cuisines, though their core dishes have an American and Italian influence.
