VDMA
In Latin, acronym for ‘Verbum Dei Manet in Aeternum’ or ‘The Word of God endures for ever’ (I Peter 1:25). The letters or words are most usually found on or around places where the Bible is read out in church, such as lecterns or pulpits. They are sometimes portrayed in imagery as printed in a book, in which case the book is meant to be the Bible. (Kremer, 2023)
