Art or science of measuring solids, a branch of geometry dealing with solid figures: stereometric therefore pertains to stereometry or solid geometry. Stereometrically pure forms would include the cone, cube, pyramid, and sphere, and were important elements in Neo-Classicism. (Curl & Wilson, 2016)
