slope
An inclined surface, especially of the ground. See also exterior slope, interior slope, superior slope. 2. An angle measured against the horizon; may be calculated in angular degrees, or as a ratio of the horizontal distance to 1 foot of vertical distance, or a percentage equal to the vertical fall in 100 horizontal feet.
