An elevated monorail system above grade. People Mover is the name of the loop in the Central Business District of Detroit, Michigan. When originally constructed it serviced a dwindling downtown population of office workers and declining numbers of visitors. Today it serves a growing office sector, residents, casinos, theaters, and new stadiums. (Kremer, 2025) Photo from Indianapolis, Indiana, 2005.
