In French, one of the many varieties of “Notre Dame” marbles quarried in northern France. Luel Uni Clair is brownish graywith occasional small fossils and is streaked with very fine grayish whitecalcite veins. Lunel Uni Fonce has like characteristics but larger and more numerous fossils on a much darker brown. (Kremer, 2023)
