Lollardy
Emerged I mid 14th century by John Wycliffe, an Oxford theologian. Lollards believed in direct relation with God that did not require the church or clergy. They also believed the Bible should be translated into English, the church could not appoint clergy, objected to chantries, and all people should receive equal prayers for the soul.
