facade easement

A right acquired by one party in the real property of its present and future owners. A façade easement assures that a building front will be kept unaltered, regardless of the use or ownership of the building at any future time: a scenic or open-space easement protects areas of landscape in a similar fashion. (Ziegler, 1975)
