Windows by reflecting the sky, trees, and open spaces that birds see as a clear flight path. Not realizing it’s actually a solid surface, up to 1 billion birds die every year in the U.S. alone after colliding with a window. White dots can make the window more visible to help prevent bird collisions. (Kremer, 2024)
