A variant of the Rio Bec style in Maya architecture; characterized by doorways representing the gaping mouth of a serpent or earth monster; radiating from Hochob in Campeche, this style appears at Chichen Itza (e.g. the Nunnery Annex) and at Uxmal (on the west temple entrance of the Pyramid of the Magician.)
