Monroe Street runs in a north south glossary/orientation/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="db95ab82e82b6adb39f18bd1c8970b4a" target="_blank" >orientation. Bounded by Booth street inthe North and Erie St. in the south.Monroe serves as the eastern boundary for Albion’s historical commercialdistrict. Slightly north of Michigan Avenue, Monroe passes by remainingbuildings in the former union_steel">UnionSteel Products industrial complex. During World War II access to MonroeStreet near the factory was limited for security reasons. Further to the north,Monroe passes through some of Albion’s latest residential developments.
