Ray Van Marter
City Building Inspector, 1968-?
Ray Van Marter, Building Inspector for the City since 1968, assumes many more responsibilities that perhaps the title indicates. Mr. Van Marter issues all building or remodelling permits for the City, and also conducts inspections on existing dwellings. In addition this office is responsible for enforcement of the inoperable car ordinance, sign ordinance violations, basic zoning interpretations relating to building permits, and also is responsible for maintenance of city buildings.
