In photography, a print made by some chemical process and by a direct exposure of a chemically prepared surface to the light; especially a reproduction of a mechanical drawing in the work of architects and engineers. Cyanotypes orblue prints are the most common, but there is also a process which gives blue lines on white ground, and those which give black or brown lines on a white or light gray ground.
