Envy
One of the seven deadly sins, often portrayed as a woman eating the heart torn from her own breast, or sometimes her ntrails. Her familiar attribute is a snake, sometimes shown as her protruded, poisonous tongue. Other symbols of envy include the scorpion, the “evil eye,” and the color green. (Tressider, 2000)
