A tool used to measure relative humidity by using two thermometers, one with a dry bulb and one with a wet wick, that are spun in the air. The spinning motion causes evaporation from the wet bulb, which lowers its temperature. By comparing the dry-bulb temperature to the wet-bulb temperature, and then using a psychrometric chart, one can determine the relative humidity and dew point. (Kremer, 2025)
