Among his fears were slaying of the Philistines. In symbolism he is represented by the an-ass/" class="glossaryLink" data-cmtooltip="d71d93de73bfe244e3a55a997db3b411" target="_blank" >jawbone of an ass. Delilah asked the source of his strength.
