Pyrenesse Black-and-White

A dark brownish black marble from France, with thin and broad golden veins in haphazard pattern. The veins are glasslike, and the entire mass is crazed with very fine cobweb-like veins. A marble of wide variation but consistent in color value. (Saylor, 1952)
