path dependence

Isaac Kremer/ August 30, 2026/ / 0 comments

A path that is determined by the manner in which we treat each other. When we commit acts of violence, as when neighborhoods are ripped apart by serial displacement, we destroy the weak ties and undermine the foundation of our society. WE have to go forward from that point of destruction. We can leave people alone and they will recover in fifty years or so. If we repair it through community organizing, we can recover more quickly.
