The National Register Bulletin titled “How to Complete the National Register Registration Form” provides guidance on categories and style names used for architectural classification. “Other” is a category for properties not described by any of the listed terms – including bridges, ships, locomotives, and buildings and structures that are pre-historic, folk, or vernacular in character.
